Average Printing Times For Custom Promotional Items

Most custom printing orders can be completed in 10 working days from paper proof approval. The amount of time printing takes can vary widely due to many factors. The most common things that slow the completion of an order are: the workloads of the factory during peak printing seasons, artwork needing revisions, waiting for the customer to approve the paper proof, the credit approval process, and long shipping distances from the factory. We recommend that you submit your order three weeks or more before your event date so we can easily overcome any obstacles and you can avoid paying air freight charges or rush order printing fees. Because we use over 6,000 custom printing factories nationwide, production times can vary widely. You can use the website published order times as a guide. Please contact your dedicated Account Manager on each item to be sure the factory can meet your event date. Please be sure to figure shipping time when placing your order. UPS ground will take 3-7 days, based on your location and the location of the factory. Air freight can be used if needed.

Rush Printing Orders

We have a great group of custom items that you can have printed for just in time delivery! From as little as 1 day production rush or up to a 5 day production, we have you covered! Use the built in search feature "Production Time" to search for items that can be completed for your deadline. Please bear in mind a few things when placing a rush order. All orders requiring delivery in 10 days or less are considered a rush order and will be charged a Rush Fee. This is to cover the added expense of stopping current production of other orders to put your order ahead of them. Rush orders automatically waive customer approval of the paper proof to make sure production times are met. The Rush Fee will either be charged by per piece or there will be a set fee. Please contact your dedicated Account Manager for specific details. Most rush orders will need to use expedited shipping and will be shipped via Air Freight. This can be very costly for heavy items and large orders.

However, the factory may not be able to meet the advertised production time during peak printing seasons or due to circumstances beyond our control.
